Diabolic not only produce death metal in a similar style to Morbid Angel, pelting out killer riffs, blasts and hauntingly evil solos with a true Trey Azagthoth influence and just an all round completely dark, evil and killingly classic death metal package; But they have also captured the 'feel' of the era with their 'no frills' production being so reminiscent of all the classic early 90's death metal releases. 'City of the Dead' reminds me of that day I brought the Morbid Angel CD and that era when death metal was alive and kicking in all of its glory!
