Says the band on their release, "Black Metal for me are bands like Venom and ofcourse Pagan Rites my 3rd band and ofcourse Sabbat from Japan. DLR are inspired by the roots of old Metal bands like Venom, Iron Maiden, Witchfynd, Crossfire and so on. We are not into norwegian Black Metal, but I like older bands like TNT etc."
