The best Darkthrone album???YES!!!

Fuck this always floors my mind to a shell of bleak desire(it takes you for a ride through your soul and natures soul!! after it you want more)

The solo on track 3..is just something I cant explain and something that I think may have caused a few earth quakes in JEWFORNIA due to its vastness and hate.

Also you gotta love ''SO WHAT IF I AM FUCKING INSAINE ..ILL FUCKIN KILL YOU ANYWAY!!!'' from ''GRAVE WITH A VIEW'' godberg I love that!!

Another one of my all time faves..and the most over looked album in DEATH METAL..but people are always to stupid to see the good albums anyways(..INFESTER YOU FAGS!!!)

''AS WOLFS AMONG SHEEP WE HAVE WANDERED''..SURE AS FUCK HAVE 1488!!!

this is the one that i always keep coming back to in my collection of "dark throne". bleak and heavy death metal that few past or present have come close to or have equaled over time. the vocals are gutteral and sound as if they were being sung from the bottom of some ancient buried city long abandoned from the way the singers voice somewhat echoes. the guitars and drums are constantly changing in each and every song, progressing but not in a gay way(another words not like that embarressment of a band known as "cynic", what was that shit anyway, death metal jazz?). the music and the lyrics are very well written as well as the production and musicianship being displayed are both incredibly done. they could ask $20.00 for this and if i didn't already own it but knew what to expect from hearing it elsewhere i would definitely fork over the bread to get this album. the only other album worth getting of theirs would be their "a blaze in the northern sky" but i only recommend that album 50% of the way. they retain enough of their song writing skills to hold your interest but they start to venture to much into black metal with their eviler than thou stereo type with the other 50%(the voice intro to the 1st song is a good example of this, its just ridiculous). but if your looking for an album that is not only worth the money but also fucking great from beginning to end, then "soulside journey" is the one for you.
