Much less violent and erratic than their earlier albums, Darkthrone here give us trance-inducing repetitive riffs with a smooth cold feel. Not as good as previous Darkthrone, to be sure, but still a very worthy purchase.

many reviews i read bashed this album,i think it fucking kills.Darkthrone seems to capture the dark feeling hellhammer and celtic frost used to,but darkthrone adds some more insane shit to it.This is blackmetal done by blackmetal gods if you like cradle of cum and dimmu cheeseburger you may noy understand this album
