Killer debut album of excellently raging Melodic Black/Death/Power Metal from Finland (featuring members of Impaled Nazarene & Sinergy). Children of Bodom's music has very good and aggressive vocals, technical and fast guitar riffs and last but not least lots of lead breaks and speed changes. Compared to Dimmu Borgir (for instance), the guitar riffs are more technical and diverse and the music is a bit less repetitive.
