Finland's CHARON,is best from SENTENCED, AMORPHIS and a few ingredients of HIM.

Very nice and variable Gothic Metal, supported by a female opera-singer and a cello on a few tracks, adding to the variability.

CHARON are very dark and melancholic, but at the same time very accessible, too, avoiding the footfalls of dullness and kitsch. -Metal Observer
