Now that the smoke in my apartment that poured from my speakers while this album played has cleared, I can finally see my computer screen and write this review. I would have expected nothing less than pure adrenalin-induced, manic and savage Death/Thrash from CENTINEX given that everything else they've put out until now has been so. The band abides again. This time they've created what certainly must be, collectively, their most effectively barbaric and intense ever. The admiration I have for CENTINEX is rooted in my love for the primal rage this band continues to exude. Now I love hybrid Death Metal and melody is a great thing but sometimes you just want to hear the raw elements of the genre come roaring out of your stereo and few do it as well as CENTINEX. Forget about groovy hooks or galloping melodies, this times its war.
