Carpathian Forest really dont get their due... but as far as Norwegian Black metal goes they are in a class of their own. Any fans of Mayhem and Emperor will find their sound traditional yet almost thrashy and fused with rspy necro and an almost rock n' roll edge. they are about as much fun as Black Metal can get. Listen to them drunk.
