CARDIAC ARREST play fucking great DEATH METAL!!! Call it old school if you want...because they bring back the great riffing and solo's from let's say 15 years ago! You can hear some influences by bands like DISMEMBER, DEATH, BOLT THROWER, MORBID ANGEL, ASPHYX;...but in their own style! I must confess that over the last ten years my attention at deathmetal bands slowed down a bit (probably more than a bit) and I still remember very good when I bought some cult releases like OBITUARY's "Slowly We Rot" and Cause of Death" or DEATH's "Scream Bloody Gore" or "Leprosy"...well it's of course more difficult these days to make a remindable album (and I'm talking about every genre here).
Let me say something rude now....CARDIAC ARREST did it!!!! This release is so full of briliant rhythms and solo's it just sounds like an early 90's album!!! Well balanced and full of breaks with a good dose of GORE!!!!....yeah...and let me remind you dear gory readers, this is just the begining!!! I just can't wait for what the future will bring us...let's hope more DEATH and ROT!!!!"
