| As a founding member of Bloodthrone I would like the opportunity to respond to the prior "review" on the CD "storms of Apocalypse". To begin with there was no mention of the actual CD itself, this is for reviewing a release of a band's music not a live show, if you would take the time to actually sit down and listen to the music you would find that there is no "ripping off" of dark funeral, when that music was recorded we were just trying to be ourselves. Unfortunately I have not been a member of the band for quite sometime now and it's very misfortunate that the live performances are not to everyone's liking, but if you don't know this by now the metalfest's are notorious for terrible sound quality and Bloodthrone is not some huge band so they probably got the short straw when it came to LIVE sound, and have you ever heard of the saying "you can please some people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time"? In conclusion I still find the music that I contributed too to be an enjoyable listening experience and I would suggest this CD to anybody that likes black/death metal, hails to the hordes! |
