Propably the best album in the world.
Starts with a megalomanic title track which is always a pleasure to listen, it`s nearly perfect.
Quorthon was a genius.
The next track, "Through Blood By Thunder", is one of the two song on this album that i have not listened so much, but its great anyway.
Then comes my favorite song from this album, "Blood And Iron", starts with an almost identical intro with through blood by thunder, goes on crushing everything on its way, then 02:47, comes the best guitar riff ever...or almost the best, and Quorthons vocals on this track are just plain incredible.
The Next track, "Under The Runes", starts off with a nice acoustic riff and goes on just as epic as the previous songs, I love the melody after the chorus, its just great.
Then comes "To Enter Your Mountain", the name says it all, truly epic masterpiece.
Then the other song that i havent listened so much, "Bond Of Blood", i like more the previous "evil" version of it "In Nomine Satanas" which is on Jubileum III album.
The final track,"Hammerheart", is based on Gustav Holst`s composition, Twilight Of The Gods was supposed to be the last Bathory album, that is why theres no sign of that legendary outro.
I truly think this is the best album in the world.
