Third release from this French ambient project. Music-wise the band can be labeled as ambient/darkwave with some historical links. I think if you put together Arcana with Ildfrost and some Loreena McKennitt then you'll come pretty close. I say Arcane because Am'Ganesha'n also uses the same musical fragments and choir-alike vocals. Ildfrost because of those same musical fragments as well as the sometimes strange turns in the music. Also the atmosphere comes quite close to Ildfrost's debut album "Autumn departure". And finally Loreena McKenitt because of the drumming which sounds quite similar and here and there it has that same old celtic feeling. Also Loreena's vocals and the way she sings her vocal-lines are a bit comparable. And besides all these comparisons also some ancient alike musical feelings can be noticed. Like I said before the drumming sometimes sounds like Loreena McKennitt giving it an old celtic feeling. But also some ancient middle eastern influences can be noticed here and there because of the use of some similar sounding instruments as well as the moaning female vocals. Therefore this album turned out quite diverse. -vampire-magazine.com
