Theatrical Symbolisation Of Life' is honest, raw, energetic and contains poetry, something I miss nowadays on Agathocles releases! The CD gives a great impression of the starting era of the band, with cult songs as 'The Tree', 'Lack Of Personality', 'Kill Your Fucking Idols' or 'Alternative, Another Trend'. Displeased Records took the honours to re-release this CD. Yes, my favourite Agathocles CD/LP (aside of the 'Bomb Brussels' LP) has been put out to the masses yet again. Fully re-mastered, a new (thinner) inlay and a great bonus live show dating from 1990. And the latter shows what Agathocles is about: raw live energy that kicks punkish DIY ass! For grindcore freaks that do not know the band, if that's ever possible, a great maybe dated but brutal start to get acquainted with these Belgian mincecore bonbons.
