Richard G.: About two years ago I received the demo 'Nemesis' by the Belgian band Aeons Of Old. At the time, they played a variant of melodic Swedish death metal with a drum computer. Now they release their new MCD 'When The Blood Runs Clear' and stylistically they changed minimally.

It is still death metal (with a real drummer now) and they are still doing it Swedish style, but they got rid of the typical melodies. Old school stomping is what is at offer now. Think of old Unleashed and maybe even old Entombed.
