The band Ad Vitam Aeternam was founded in 1999 in the surrounding area of Paris by Jean Suire and Cathy Bontant. After creating several songs the band finally took its current shape with six dedicated and very ex­pe­rienced musicians aged between 26 and 32 years old. Of course a line-up that is a bit classical by now if a band plays Gothic/Dark Metal… soprano vocals, death grunts, two guitars, bass guitar, keyboards and drums. For a debut-album "Abstract Senses" is without doubt a strong release that will put the band on the Gothic Metal map.
