Accurst is a solo project exploring the nightmares of existence and the horrors of the subconscious through sound and music experimentation. Accurst now plays what Adon, the man behind the project, calls Dekadence Music. The term is defined as a style transcending music genres, a 'post genre.' A deterioration of styles simplified and merged to create a new sound not limited to any specific genre. Thematically, Dekadence Music bares resemblance to the 19th century Decadence literary movement's concepts and ideas.
