What a rush for the mind. Abyss makes a blend of metal with weird ambient and noises (some industrial, some dark, some insane). This 2 man band is not afraid to put there madness into use for us.

It cannot be compared to ambient noise makers but its Black Metal with all sorts of concepts and it changes rapidly and all songs are varied which makes it a plus. Its not often to find a band that is willing to mix black metal guitars riffs ( even raw ) into an obscure noise apparatus that is able to impress, have no doubt about that. But I think its for the mature listener who can appreciate this kind of concept and understand its true messages.

5 Songs to put yourself into the mind of emptyness.

1- Lotus ( Sci-fi noises with an intro of cries on repeat mode ) 2.13 min
2- Breathe ( Fast raw riffs guitars, light drums ) 4.42 min
3- K-Kalser - Kamikaze ( Miserable yells, sounds and varied riffs of guitars, some Black Metal, some industrial oriented ) 6.11 min
4- Unworld ( Awesome Riffs into despair mode and tempo) . The title says it all: Unworld. I felt like the entire universe had no substance whatsoever while earing this piece that starts slow but progress into faster drums, insane yells and well done harsh riffs. 8.35 min
5- Burn me to the sky ( Clearly a reminder of early ambient formation that were mixing 3 types of screams, some softer, and very dominant) . The most melodic and suggestive original song of the recording. 7.33 min

This product did for me what few acts like that were able to do: to exorcise my deepest feelings, emotions of anger, hate, despair, withdrawal from earth, evasion, need to conquer, need to kill, need to go away from the present and its boundaries. The effect of their noise is really PRO and I urge mature collectors of unique talent to go and get some of this. So far, this band has gone deeper than anything else I've listenned so far ( which is a lot by the way ). CD-R comes with xerox booklet with lyrics. Cool. (Hecatior)
