Abominator - Subversives For Lucifer CD 2001 (Osmose)

Whilst I can perhaps understand Necropolis not wanting to release this album, what I can not make out is why they continue to release such crappy albums like the debut Triumphator (a poor man's Setherial) and Black Dawn (generic and generally boring). I think the Demonic debut was the last "real" Black Metal release on the label. Anyway, sure, maybe Abominator does not have appeal to the Goths, but their music is crude, raw and utterly ugly - just like the band members. Subversives For Lucifer, the first for French Osmose, is similar to their debut full-length in terms of attack - you won't find any slow segments, mosh riffs, any form of element whatsoever that is near close to being gay. Abominator have always followed the rule book on Oiistraiiliiaan War Metal, with the names of Sodom, Sarcofago, Bestial Warlust inscribed on their blackened hearts. The blasting here is comprised of fast, ultra fast, and very very very fucking obliteratingly FAST. Of course everyone knows by now that Mister Bloodstorm is formerly of Bestial Warlust, and this is his farewell vocal extortion on a Metal album. News is that the band have found even better (!) replacements, and thus I can not wait to hear what the band has on their sleeves, next. If you think that that Conqueror CD was "brutal," I suggest that you check this out. ‘Coz listening to Abominator makes Conqueror sound like Warrant, and that says a lot on just how EXTREME Subversives For Lucifer is. Hails to Osmose for bringing more extreme Metal to the trend masses, just what this 'scene' needs.
