| Before reading this; understand I am a huge fan of Abigor and am in absolute awe of thier musical genius. I own every release of thiers I can get my hands on, and more than any other band I keep coming back to these guys. This is the one release by thiers I have grown tired of. The overall writing on this album is too formulaic for a band that rests on its reputation for constant innovation and complete dark brilliance. The riffs are above-average for a typical black metal band, which means for Abigor it is a huge dissapointment. The songs are forgettable and could be replaced with one another, and the style has lost much of its organic chaotic expansive nature. I have to reccomend any of thier other albums, including 'In Memory', over this. |

| Abigor are a bit more on the 'crunchy' lower-tuned side this time, without losing their trademark high-pitched delicately technical whirlwind style of elite black metal. Like other Abigor albums, its subtlety grows on you with time. |
